Senators forward Jason Spezza will be back in the Senators' linuep Friday after missing Tuesday's game with a hip injury. - Ottawa Sun
Lightning goalie Sean Burke faced shots for the first time since breaking his right index finger during practice on March 16th. - Tampa Tribune
Panthers goaltender Roberto Luongo is playing despite suffering from an undisclosed injury. He has been getting treatments daily but has not missed any time. - South Florida Sun Sentinel
King's forward Pavol Demitra is set to have surgery today. "Right now there are just too many problems and they don't really know which one is the problem," said Demitra, who also has been experiencing headaches. "It's either my eye, a mild concussion or a sinus infection. I tried to skate the last two days but I can't really breathe through my nose. They're going to fix that and clean out the sinus infection, and then we'll find out if it's the concussion that's keeping me from playing." - Los Angeles Times
Lightning forward Rob DiMaio, out the past two weeks with a partially herniated disc, was removed from the injured reserve list but did not play Thursday night. He should return sometime next week. - St. Petersburgh Times

Also the Devils will be honoring Ken Danyeko tonight when they will host the Bruins. His jersey will be retired and put up in the rafters....

I watched the first 2 periods of this game. I didn't think the CBJs were going to do much, but the game became rough-and-tumble as it went along and the CBJs scored to tie it up. I'm not too surprised at the final score seeing how the second period went. Good job, CBJs!!!
