Crosby is third on the team in penalty minutes with 94. He has been called several times for unsportsmanlike conduct for arguing with officials, erroneously accused of diving by opponents, and has developed a reputation -- deserved or not -- as a player who whines too much to the officials.

I don't think that it's always that erroneous!

im actually almost glad, now that i've read this article, that we didnt get crosby in the draft. we might've been as bad as the penguins and we would've had a cry baby on our team

Crazy as it may sound, I've been glad not to have Crosby for the longest time, for various reasons - not the least of which would be the undue attention and hype brought to the team just by the mere presence of Crosby.

I like the Ducks just the way they are right now.

I think the Pens should have never given him the "A" in the first place. He should at least proven himself in the NHL first. I wonder what his teammates really think of him. No rookie should really have a voice until they have earned the respect from their peers. You don't see Perry or Getzlaf whinning about the NHL.

You say your glad he didnt come. I think his 80 something points wouldve helped seeing as how our main trouble is scoring. He is 18 and is showing his passion for the game. He might whine a little to much sometimes but he not going to be the most mature player in the league. He is a still a kid. Crosby wouldve helped this team out a lot. Pittsburgh probably wouldnt of won more then 10 games without him.

I know Federov does, but he didn't show much leadership when he was here. But that's off topic. You don't have to insult me over my opinion...every time.
