MTV to launch Gay networkQUOTE
May 26--Cable programming powerhouse MTV Networks said it's launching the country's first gay network -- called LOGO -- and conservative groups are already vowing to erase it.
Following yesterday's big announcement of LOGO's launch, scheduled for Feb. 17 of next year, conservative groups promptly threatened to identify and boycott advertisers who buy time on the gay channel.

I'm with you there Leona. Do you know that when all those gay couples were getting married in San Francisco??? My life didn't seem to change one bit and I felt no different. It's a matter of peoples personal beliefs I realize, I just am one who has no problem with it. It hurts no one and if it makes some peole happy, why not?? There just isn't enough joy in life anymore and whatever makes people feel better, if it doesn't hurt anyone else, I say go for it!!
NOW, if some people would stop trying to be mean to me, I could be a LITTLE happier. Oh, well. That's life!! :bye: :bye: :bye: :bye:

I'm not even going to really say anyhting because my beliefes say it's wrong, ut I say, hey, to each his own. If they want a gay chanle, give it to them. We have Chinese chanles and mexican chanles and what not, whats the difference? Why aren't we attacking other chanles?

yes, there are spanish channels, asian channels, indian channels,african-american channels, persia channels. why arent they being attacked? simple. society doesnt consider being mexican, asian,african-american, indian or persian as morally wrong. society as a whole will not accept homosexuality. never will.
to me, it is not an issue of right or wrong. its a choice. i choose to be tattoed, pierced, and therefore have to endure rude comments frequently. so do gays. but it is MY right as a person to do what i feel is right for my life, therefore i do it, and we must accept the fact, again right or wrong, that it is THEIR choice. personally, i fail to see any attraction to a guy. [i mean, let's see--brad pitt or brooke burke? DUH, i wonder who Ill pick!!!) but if a male or female does, to another male or female, who the heck am i to say "hey, i dont like THAT, so dont do that." whats next? i dont like football, so dont watch it? i think south park sucks, so dont watch it? i dont like surfing, so you cant do it? i dont like fake boobs, so you cant get them? i dont like green cars, so dont buy one? the list is endless!! as stated above, by veca, theres gay marriages going on, and my life hasnt changed one bit. not whatsoever. so have at it.

I don't see what the big deal is, I say let people live their life the way they wish....isn't that why we all love our freedom?
On a side note: Why is it that English channels put Spanish on the secondary audio channel but the Spanish don't put English on it?
