Here are some important dates to remember for the rest of 2004 in the NHL:

June 26-27 - NHL entry draft, Raleigh, N.C.
July 1 - Free agency signing period begins.
July 15 - Deadline for eligible Group II players to elect salary arbitration; deadline for eligible players to elect Group V free agency.

Aug. 1-15 - Salary arbitration hearings.
Aug. 20 - World Cup of Hockey training camps open.
Aug. 30-Sept. 14 - World Cup of Hockey.
Sept. 15 - Collective bargaining agreement between NHL and players' association expires.
